How it works: This pulsed dye laser delivers a burst of laser light at the 595nm wavelength. This energy is preferentially absorbed by the hemoglobin in the blood vessels, without adversely affecting surrounding tissue. These vessels are heated and coagulated, then reabsorbed by the body during the natural healing process. This is the solution to effective treatment for most vascular lesions.
