How does it work?

Our Megapeel uses a handpiece to gently vacuum crystals onto the surface of the skin and resurface the superficial (outer) layers of the skin.  As the crystals contact the skin, they remove old, dead, and flaking skin cells and exfoliate and polish the skin cells beneath.  Additionally, it stimulates production of new skin cells and collagen, resulting in a more youthful appearance.

How many treatments are necessary?

Quite often, microdermabrasion benefits are apparent after only one treatment, although we recommend a series of 5-6 treatments spaced about 1 week apart to achieve the desired results.
